Those products are made for learning and not learning how to use them,” explains Kane Bradford.
“iPad is a versatile device that empowers students to learn in ways that work best for them — it can be used as a notepad, sketchbook, camera, production studio, and more,” adds Miriam Torres, Education Sales Manager at JB Hi-Fi Education.
“Its portability means it can be used anywhere — in the classroom, outside, or on excursions — turning every space into a learning environment. Teachers can combine multimedia, interactivity, and personalised learning apps to create lessons that adapt to different learning styles,” she continues.
When students move to Year 7, they transition to MacBook Air. Combined with extended battery life, it offers them and their teachers the ability to achieve so much throughout the day,” says Miriam Torres.
The transition between iPad and Mac is seamless thanks to Apple’s consistent ecosystem. “It’s the same for the Mac as it is for the iPad, it is pretty intuitive you open the lid, and you go,” declares Kane Bradford.
The power of AI
Lindisfarne integrates a bespoke AI ecosystem and Apple Intelligence on devices, enhancing teaching and learning. “Our approach with AI has been ground up we encourage people to think about what AI should do for us and what it shouldn’t as educators,” says Kane.
Apple Intelligence helps students generate summaries, organise research, and more, while assisting teachers in crafting creative lesson materials. Schools can enable and manage features based on their policies, as Lindisfarne has done.
